Backyard structures we tear down & haul away

Most haulers will take a pile of junk but draw the line at structures. We don’t. If it’s a free-standing backyard build that’s past its prime, there’s a good chance we can knock it down and load it up in a single trip.

Old sheds

Rotting wood, rusted metal, or vinyl storage sheds — torn down and hauled off the lot.

Fences

Wood, chain-link, or vinyl fence sections, posts, and gates pulled and removed.

Decks

Small wood decks, platforms, and porch landings dismantled board by board.

Gazebos & pergolas

Backyard gazebos, pergolas, and arbors taken apart and carried out.

Playsets & swing sets

Old wooden swing sets, treehouses, and play structures broken down.

Carports & lean-tos

Free-standing metal carports, awnings, and lean-to additions removed.

We do not pick up items from inside the home. Items must be placed curbside, outside, in the driveway, garage, apartment exterior, business exterior, storage unit, or another accessible pickup location.

How shed teardown works

  1. 1

    Send us photos

Snap a few pictures of the shed or structure from a couple angles when you book. We quote off the photos so the price is set before we arrive.

  2. 2

    We confirm it qualifies

We make sure it’s a light-demo job — no permanent foundation, no live utilities — and lock in your truckload price.

  3. 3

    We tear it down

Our crew dismantles the structure by hand, working safely and cleaning up as we go.

  4. 4

    We haul every piece

Wood, panels, posts, hardware, and debris all go on the truck. You’re left with an open, swept spot.

It’s all photo-quoted at truckload pricing, so the number you see is the number you pay. See the truckload pricing page, then book online in about two minutes.

Light demolition vs. a contractor job

We want to set honest expectations. Bingo does light demolition — the kind of teardown a two-person crew can do safely by hand. Here’s where the line falls:

We can do this

  • Free-standing sheds & storage buildings
  • Fences, posts & gates
  • Small decks, platforms & landings
  • Gazebos, pergolas & playsets
  • Structures sitting on skids or pavers

Needs a contractor / permit

  • Anything on a permanent poured foundation
  • Utilities still connected (power, gas, water, sewer)
  • Garages, additions & load-bearing structures
  • Jobs that need heavy equipment
  • Anything requiring a demolition permit

Not sure which side your structure falls on? Send photos when you book or call us at 850-321-3047 and we’ll tell you straight.

Built for rural Marion County properties

Marion County has no residential curbside recycling and little to no curbside bulk pickup, so a collapsing shed or sagging fence can sit on your property for years. We bring the truck out to rural acreage, demolish the structure, and haul every board, panel, and post away — no dump runs and no piles left behind for you to deal with.

Clearing out more than a shed? Pair it with a full property or garage cleanout and we’ll knock it all out in one visit. We cover Ocala, Gainesville, The Villages, and all of North Central Florida.

Shed removal questions, answered

Do you really do shed demolition? Most junk haulers say no.

Yes. The big national chains will haul away a shed you’ve already torn down, but they won’t do the teardown. Bingo Pickup handles light demolition and haul-away in one visit — we knock the old shed, fence, deck, or gazebo down and take every piece with us.

What counts as “light demolition” versus a job for a contractor?

We’ll be honest about this. We handle free-standing backyard structures we can take apart safely by hand — sheds, fences, small decks, gazebos, playsets, and carports. We can’t touch anything on a permanent poured foundation, anything with utilities still connected (power, gas, water, sewer), or anything that needs a demolition permit or heavy equipment. Those are jobs for a licensed contractor. If your structure falls in that group, we’ll tell you up front.

How much does it cost to haul away an old shed?

Shed and structure removal is priced by the truckload, based on the photos you send when you book — so there are no surprises on the day. Bigger or heavier teardowns take up more of the truck. See our truckload pricing on the pricing page, and your exact quote is confirmed before we start.

Can you reach rural properties in Marion County?

Absolutely. A lot of our shed and fence teardowns are on rural Marion County acreage and out toward Dunnellon, Silver Springs, and Summerfield — places with no curbside bulk pickup at all. We bring the truck to you and haul everything off the property.
