Eco-Friendly Junk Removal in Ocala & Marion County
We recycle and donate what we reasonably can — scrap metal, appliances, e-waste, old TVs, cardboard, and usable furniture all get a second life when it’s practical. We also run a curbside recycling pickup service. And we’re upfront about the rest: mixed, broken, or dirty junk still goes to the transfer station and landfill. No greenwashing — just honest, responsible junk removal in Ocala at the same price as a regular haul.
Book Responsible PickupWhat we keep out of the landfill
Green junk removal in Ocala doesn’t have to be complicated. Before a load heads anywhere, we pull out what’s genuinely worth diverting — the stuff that recycles or donates cleanly. Here’s what that looks like:
Scrap metal
Old swing sets, bed frames, grills, gutters, fencing, water heaters, and other metal go to scrap and metal recyclers instead of the landfill whenever it’s practical to pull them aside.
Appliances
Fridges, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, and water heaters are routed to metal and scrap recyclers when they’re worth it. See our refrigerator removal page for fridge and freezer specifics.
E-waste, electronics & old TVs
Old TVs, monitors, computers, printers, and other electronics get steered toward e-waste recycling where we can. Our guide on where to recycle electronics & TVs in Ocala walks through the drop-off options too.
Cardboard & paper
Clean cardboard boxes and paper are easy wins, so we keep that out of the trash and into recycling when a load has a worthwhile amount of it.
Usable furniture & household goods
Couches, dressers, tables, and household items that are still in good shape get donated to local charities — Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, The Salvation Army — when they’ll take them. See our furniture donation guide.
Curbside recycling pickup
We also run a dedicated curbside recycling pickup service and subscription — $49 one-time or $39 per pickup on a plan — for households that want recyclables hauled regularly.
We do not pick up items from inside the home. Items must be placed curbside, outside, in the driveway, garage, apartment exterior, business exterior, storage unit, or another accessible pickup location.
What we can’t recycle — and where it goes
Here’s the part most haulers won’t put in writing: a lot of junk can’t be recycled or donated. Mixed debris, broken furniture, soaked or filthy items, and non-recyclable materials go to the Marion County transfer station, and from there to the landfill.
We sort out the metal, e-waste, and usable goods first — but we’re not zero-waste, and we don’t divert everything. We think being honest about that is a feature, not a weakness. You’ll always know exactly what we keep out of the landfill, and we won’t inflate the number to sound greener than we are.

Why responsible disposal matters
We’ll keep the claims modest, because the impact is real but local. Every load of scrap metal and e-waste we route to a recycler is material that doesn’t sit in the ground. Every couch or dresser we donate is a usable item that helps a local family instead of becoming trash.
We’re not going to promise we’ll save the planet or quote diversion stats we can’t back up. What we can promise: when something is reasonably recyclable or donatable, we make the effort to get it there — and we’re straight with you about the rest.
If you specifically want recyclables hauled on a regular basis, that’s our curbside recycling pickup service — $49 one-time or $39 per pickup on a subscription.
No green surcharge — same honest pricing
Recycling and donating what we can is simply how Bingo works, so eco-friendly junk removal costs the same as any other haul. There’s no “green” markup.

Eco-friendly junk removal questions
Is your junk removal really eco-friendly?
Honestly — some of it, not all of it. We recycle the stuff that’s worthwhile and practical (scrap metal, appliances, e-waste and old TVs, cardboard and paper) and we donate usable furniture and household goods to local charities when they’ll take them. We also run a curbside recycling pickup service. But we’re upfront: a lot of mixed, broken, or dirty junk still goes to the Marion County transfer station and landfill. We’re not zero-waste, and we won’t pretend to be. What we can keep out of the landfill, we do.
What do you recycle?
The easy, worthwhile material: scrap metal, appliances (routed to metal and scrap recyclers), electronics, computers and old TVs (e-waste), and clean cardboard and paper. We sort out what’s worth diverting before a load goes anywhere. If something can be recycled practically, that’s where we try to send it.
Do you donate furniture and usable items?
Yes, when it’s worth it and a charity will take it. Furniture, household goods, and other usable items in decent shape go to local nonprofits like Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and The Salvation Army instead of the trash. Our furniture donation guide covers what tends to get accepted and how free donation pickup works.
Does eco-friendly junk removal cost more?
No. Recycling and donating what we can is just how we work — there’s no green surcharge. You pay the same photo-quoted junk-removal price either way: single items from $79, quarter truckload $199–$225, half $349–$375, and full $499–$599. Your card is authorized at booking and only charged after the job is done. Full numbers are on the pricing page.
Is there free or cheap eco-friendly junk removal in Ocala?
For items in good condition, donation pickup is often free — many charities will collect usable furniture at no charge, and our donation guide shows how. The cheapest route for recyclables is self-hauling to a drop-off or recycling center. When you’d rather have it loaded and gone, our paid haul-away starts from $79 — see how much junk removal costs in Ocala for the full breakdown.
What areas do you serve — are you near me?
We cover Ocala and all of Marion County, plus Gainesville and Alachua County, The Villages, and the rest of North Central Florida within about 50 miles of Ocala. See Marion County junk removal and our service areas for the full map.
Where does the stuff you can’t recycle go?
Mixed, broken, dirty, or non-recyclable junk goes to the Marion County transfer station and, from there, the landfill. We pull out what’s worth diverting first — metal, e-waste, usable goods — but the rest goes to disposal, and we’re not going to hide that. Our Baseline Landfill guide has the hours, fees, and recycling details if you want to self-haul.
