Bingo Pickup — junk removal & recycling pickup

Junk Removal in Lecanto, FL

Lecanto sits at the geographic center of Citrus County, which means the county landfill on West Gulf to Lake Highway is practically your neighbor - if you own a pickup and a tarp, you honestly may not need to call anybody. We are for the loads that will not fit in a pickup and the five trips nobody wants to make. Lecanto is well inside the 50-mile area we cover from Ocala, so there is no travel fee on top of the quote.

Your local Lecanto junk removal & bulk pickup crew

The Citrus County Central Landfill is right here in Lecanto, at 230 West Gulf to Lake Highway, open weekdays and Saturdays and closed Sunday. The county does not run curbside garbage pickup out here — unincorporated addresses either pay a private hauler or run it to the landfill themselves. Some bulky-item disposal is also covered for county residents, with fees past that, so check the county's current fee schedule before you load up. Loads have to be covered on the way there. If it is one recliner and you own a truck, go handle it yourself. Call us when it is three loads instead of one, when it is heavy, or when nobody at the house ought to be lifting it.

Lecanto is where the county offices and the College of Central Florida's Citrus Campus sit, and Gulf to Lake Highway runs straight through the middle of it, so we get a truck out here easily. If you have a shed, a carport or a pole barn holding things that stopped being useful a decade ago, that is our work. Fence panels somebody already pulled, decking already stacked, an above-ground pool already down and folded, old lumber, bed frames, rusted mowers. We do not take anything apart — no cutting, no unbolting, no disconnecting. Break it down first and we are just the truck. Metal we pull for scrap when there is enough of it, usable furniture we try to donate, and the soaked or broken material goes to the landfill.

Black Diamond Ranch is gated, so when you book, tell me what your community requires for a service truck and we will follow it. Same with the long driveways off Rock Crusher Road and North Lecanto Highway — tell me what I am pulling into before I commit the truck. Everything gets staged outside before your two-hour window: driveway, carport apron, curb, the end of the barn. We load from outside and do not go into the house, the garage or the barn to carry things out, and we are not a cleaning service. Flat price off your photos, by the truckload, and you pay after it is hauled off. You do not have to be home if the pile is reachable from outside.

We do not pick up items from inside the home. Items must be placed curbside, outside, in the driveway, garage, apartment exterior, business exterior, storage unit, or another accessible pickup location.

Lecanto junk removal — common questions

The landfill is right here in Lecanto. Why would I pay somebody to haul it?

Honestly, sometimes you should not. The Central Landfill is on West Gulf to Lake Highway, and some bulky-item disposal is covered for county residents — check the county's current fee schedule for what counts and what it costs past that. If you have a truck, a tarp and one load, that is the cheaper answer and I will tell you so. We earn our money when it is three or four loads, when it is heavy, or when there is no truck in the driveway.

I am in Black Diamond Ranch. How do you get in?

It is a gated community, so tell us when you book what your community requires for a service truck to come in, and we will do it that way. Everything needs to already be outside when we get there — driveway, side of the garage, end of the drive. We load from outside and do not come into the home.

I have a pole barn full of old fence and a deck I tore off myself. Will you take it?

Yes, as long as it is already down and stacked. We haul, we do not tear anything apart, cut anything up or unbolt anything. Loose boards, fence panels, posts, old lumber and sheet metal all load fine once they are pulled apart and piled where the truck can reach — outside the barn, not inside it. Send photos of the pile and you get a flat truckload price, paid after we haul it off.
