What city collection will not take is construction and remodeling material: cabinets and counters, carpeting and flooring, doors, windows, fencing, planks, drywall, concrete, and scrap metal. That pile is what we come for. Out in the Highlands and the rest of unincorporated Citrus County the county does not run collection at all, so households there subscribe with a private hauler and bulky items are on you.
I am clearing a relative's place near downtown from out of state. Can it happen without me there?
Yes, as long as everything is outside and reachable before the two-hour window. Have a neighbor or a family member stage it in the driveway, the carport apron, or at the curb. We load from outside only, so we do not go in the house, take anything apart, or disconnect appliances. Photos get you the flat price, and you are charged once the load is on the truck.
