The city's Residential Sanitation division offers garbage, yard waste, and bulk collection one day a week depending on your route, and you can schedule a bulk item pickup by appointment by calling 352-351-6697. One important update for 2026: the City of Ocala is ending curbside recycling collection on July 6, 2026 and moving to a citywide drop-off recycling program.
